Walking & Cycling Index

The Walking & Cycling Index is the UK and Ireland’s largest assessment of active travel. It measures walking, wheeling, cycling behaviour, attitudes and infrastructure, providing data to help improve sustainable transport and develop more liveable neighbourhoods.

I had the pleasure of working with the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust who produce the index to shoot the photo content for their 2025 Leicester edition. Armed with some light-weight kit, comfy shoes and more coffee than any human can handle, we visited multiple locations across the city over a 2 day shoot capturing cyclist and walkers in their natural environment.
